I have a Roland FR1X and have been using it since last May The set up is factory default plus two others that I like

I was watching on you tube someone playing the FR1X in French accordion style I have tried to set this up to no avail

Does anyone know how I do this

Thanks Patrick

Hi Patrick.
Could you post a link to the youtube video so perhaps we can better understand your question.

It'll be a musette 'detune' setting. Does the manual not explain it?

This is a bit wide as there are many styles.
One simple way to look around the FR1X is by starting from Set3.2
whose registers are listed on page 27 of the manual.
I like register 4b - called Mr Gus. I assume it's an attempt at the Gus Viseur sound - a French style if not the French style.
Perhaps Register 3d = SOS Musette is worth a look.
