Recording your accordion

As a novice I want to record my playing to check for mistakes etc. I have been recommended to get a new digital dictaphone. Has anyone any other suggestions or can suggest a suitable dictaphone ?

I have a "Zoom H2" which I think is good value - there may be a more recent version? - lots of options tho' the screen is a bit small

For a top quality recording I bought a Samson CO1U mic on recommendation of a friend. Its a USB connection, just plug into your lappy & record away for as long as you choose.

I bought an H4 but eventually returned it as an intermittent fault proved to be without solution.

I use a Behringer Xenyx 302USB mixer with a cheap diaphragm mic to record to my PC - works fine. Total cost was about £40 or £50.
