Wikifonia was the best one You could transpose as well before printing out. Bribed out of existence by the big bully boy publishing companies. Yey they get away with it by publishing music fake books Theres a chap recently on the forum that said he is going to make such a website, lets hope its like Wikifonia.

I am just a beginner and may never be able to play what I like but remain optimistic and hope I will get there eventually. With this in mind I thought I should buy sheet music I really like as I go along to play in the future but where do I buy the actual version I want?

The main theme of the film “Il Postino”, played on accordion by Jo Brunenberg. Arrangement by Frank Marocco. This one I can find in a book but...

As I look around the internet I can already see there are so many versions but not necessarily the one I would like ie, Volver - Carlos Gardel - Argentine Tango argentino Accordion - Jo Brunenberg Acordeon instrumental, just how do I identify that version etc?

Interesting project, Kim. I see there is quite a bit by Felix Burns. By my maths he's just out of copyright: is that part of your plan, to make some older music available? Or is he someone you're interested in?

Felix Burns has been out of copyright for a while (died in 1920) and I have a large collection. There are a lot of great tunes that translate brilliantly to the accordion.

Thanks for really useful listing I use also really easy piano/keyboard books with the chords printed
Hal Leaonard Easy Fake books and Jazz and latin Fake books for sources and do my own arrangements

I also use songsheets - being a singer I have lot of songs which I have sung with piano parts and I can arrange them to suit me and guitar books with chords and melody lines as well
