My father passed several years ago and his old accordion has been sitting in my basement I'm attempting to clean out. Could anyone help me determine the make/model/year/value? It seems to be in really good condition (although I know nothing about accordions) and I believe has the original case which is also in great shape. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,
More knowledgeable folk may be along in a while but in the meantime.....
From the proportions it looks to me like you have a compact or Ladies model. It would be useful information to give the measurement across the white keys. 17+ inches?
The couplers at the treble end indicate two sets of reeds an octave apart, which would be common for this type of accordion.

Condition is crucial since the cost of repairs can easily exceed the value of the instrument.
Theres a useful guide here

It probably makes a difference where you are since its hard to assess condition remotely.
Good luck!
Tom

Pollina, think a compact ('Ladies') 2 voice treble, prob 4 bass. 1950/60s Italian made - looks nice in the pics c$250 based on completed ebay sales. US guys may know better.
