This video was found for me by YouTube when I was looking at the one Anayanka just posted. Its about a newly designed model that he uses for jazz, improvisation etc. Now there are probably some things that could be said, and feel free to correct me if Im wrong, Im no expert, e.g. He says a lot about the quality of the wood, while many engineers say that this should not affect the sound, I think that having two low reeds in casotto for jazz is not a new idea, and he seems to be playing through an internal mic which as far as I know would change the sound significantly. Also I like a bit of celluloid.

BUT I did find this pretty interesting video (would have been nice to see the insides a bit more perhaps, I suspect they have a lot to do with the sound) and it did seem like a fantastic example of a big modern European sounding box with (as he rightly says) a very distinctive sound or range of sounds. If you like the sound of big fancy accordions, this might be of interest.

Great till you scratch it. That's the trouble with these wooden wonders- lovely sound but prone to damage!

Also reduce's the cost of manufacture !!

Perhaps they could supply them with some fine sandpaper and a tin of French polish.

Maybes not a paradigm shift of an accordion but great to see that there are lovers and performers of his quality putting their reputation to a top instrument.

Absolutely right, and the sound is very distinctive.
