Welcome Dan. A photo or 2 would make a good start. I'm sure the resident experts will be more than willing to help.

Ok. Please see the photos. Thanks

From your pictures this one looks pristine and very low mileage for a 65 to 60 year old accordion. These egg crate grill designed
student models were made in the mid 50's thru the 60's by the firm Scandalli of Camerano, Italy. They were sold here in the US by
Music studios, Music dealers & some by mail order. They came in 17" 18" & 19" keyboards with 2, 3, 5, & 7 treble shifts.
They had 2 or 3 treble reed sets of LM LMM & LMH all had 4 sets of bass reeds. All the models had machine made reeds.
( yours is a 3 reed LMH) With more pictures of the straps, case & interior reed condition and a measurement of the treble
keyboard (white key to white key) I'll give you a market price estimate.

Hi Jim
I really appreciate your depth of knowledge .with this. The keyboard length is 17" key to key.
Please see the photos for this and as much disassembly as I am comfy with, along with the straps and case.B1BA05F3-8FCC-46DC-98F9-13558A1BFC93.jpeg180F889B-1CA4-410D-BFE9-F4267FECBC3C.jpeg83856FF6-D5A3-4DF6-852D-E1D759F9D67F.jpeg12115CA7-B7F8-40B1-A10C-436F84C10CB9.jpegIf you need anything else, please let me know.
By the way I took a short video of my wife Paula playing it, but she hasn't played in years so she will not be amused if I send it.
Thanks again.
Dan

Those straps & case are worth a buck. A precise estimate will require internal pic's but a ballpark value would be from $600 to $750 USD.

At the moment I have twelve 17" accordions in stock. If this one was an 18" I would have already contacted you in a PM.
Try your local Craigslist as a dealer will only offer you less than half of it's market value. Dealers have overhead costs, will need to
offer some type of guarantee & pay taxes on it's sale.
As you've obtained it for the right price (free) may I suggest you get some good use of it.
Also list here in "Accordions For Sale" as it is perfect for a young student or a woman of small stature.
