Hi! I'm new here and also new to the accordion. Just bought an old, second hand Hohner Carmen II off Ebay. It's playable (I think!), sounds relatively in tune and came with It's original case and straps heheh XD
Wanted to have a go at learning the accordion for years. Back in 2007ish there was one for sale in a second hand shop. It was going for about £70. Somehow though, the guy at the counter managed to persuade me to buy a trumpet instead. Don't get me wrong, the trumpet was ok, but it's not what I was after.
Anywho, finally got one now. Just wanted to introduce myself a little and talk about the accordion I got. It pretty much is as you'd expect for it's age, complete with nicotine stains, but I love it.
