Hello all,
I recently bought a new Hohner Nova III 96.
I think there is a problem with the RH reeds : when I play a tune with single reed on the RH (clarinet or bassoon), I get a nice clean tone. But when I play the same tune with the same single reed, and add the LH basses (simple humpapa), the RH notes start to 'vibrate', they don't sound clean. Every time I play a short bass note or chord, the right hand notes get distorted. When I do the same on my cheap (chinese
) piano accordion, I don't get this effect, the sound stays clean.
I went to the shop where I bought the instrument, but the shop owner told me that it is normal. He said when a bass button is pressed, this creates an under pressure which makes the RH notes vibrate.I don't have much technical knowledge about accordions, but I doubt this is true.
What do you guys think about this ?
