The Bugari company created a new CBA, called Nano model.
It's a one voice 50 standard bass CBA.
3,8 kg
27,5 cm high

See Youtube for a demo video.
Available in France and Belgium.

Now, this is a very smart little instrument. Ideal, I would have thought for folky tunes and traveling. Nice sound too.

Im just adding the hyperlink to the info and video I found about this Bugari Nano model:
https://fonteneau-accordeons.fr/products/bugari-nano

With this nano model, the Bugari company joins other accordion makers like Maugein (the Marionito), Bonifassi (the Euterpe), Pigini (the Simba and Peter Pan), Akko Russia (the Lesha), Cadence (the mini accordion by Manu Maugain), ...

I hope in the future they will make mini CBAs with natural wood (or wood imitation) body.
For children these lowcost basic colours (blue, red, black, white, ...) can be attractive, but I doubt backpackers will prefer wood (imitation) styles.

If these accordion makers like to attract customers from the accordion backpackers market, Id suggest they add some wood imitation mini CBA models.

Anyhow, Im sure these smallsize CBAs are most welcome for the accordion industry to attract the youngest starters.
My thanks to all these mini CBA makers !

Here's hoping they come to offer a 4th row option for the grownups out there who are at that stage of proficiency in their playing and would love to have a small CBA. That wonky bias favoring big accordions is oddly much worse in CBA land than in PA land.

HOHNER PIROL

The Hohner Pirol would be my choice, 2 voices, 34 notes and only 3,3 kg is a very lightweight box.
I had a similar Hohner Imperial mini PA , 25 keys, 2 voices MM, 32 basses (8x4), weight = 2,9 kg.
There is no significant difference in weight between a 24 standard bass or a 32 standard bass, it only takes some extra mechanics to form the 7th chords)

2 voices mini CBAs are ideal for busking and outdoors playing.

Too bad these lightweight compact Hohners are not produced anymore.

And very difficult to get ... in 2015 a HOHNER LUCIA was for sale here on this site, but I missed it, and then more than 3 years later another one showed up on the german ebay, ... that was past week, and now I was the lucky winner ...

"Grownups" !!!  :@
I think there are plenty of superb three row players, perhaps particularly in Bayan-land. I certainly wouldn't see three rows as a beginner instrument to be discarded with progress.

No one said a word about "discarding" anything. The wish was for an added option one could go for. It's a big, multiverse universe, not a constricted, "either/or" universe. Let's all of us young grownups zoom around in it exploring the galaxy with our easily-stowed little 3-rows, 4-rows, and 5-rows . . . :)
