Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and the accordion world, my apologise in advance for stupid questions :)
In my grandfather house I've found this accordion, but I can't understand the name of the model (see attached photos).

Can anyone help me understanding the exact model and, eventually, a possible price to sell it?

Thanks!

Welcome Alby,

Your accordion appears to be of the Paolo Soprani brand.

This is a very well known and sought after brand.

I recommend you try to play it. It’s not as hard as it seems. Good luck to you.

Tom

Welcome Alby,
I can't name the exact model but it is, as Tom has said, a desirable instrument by a good maker with the desirable blue label (there's also a less desirable red label model) from about the late 1950s/ early 1960s, in an excellent cosmetic shape for age.
It has three treble "voices" (reed sets).
I see you're from Toronto.
There's several accordion repairers listed in Toronto. I suggest you phone some of them, tell them about your accordion (over the phone) and follow up by sending them several photos by SMS. Ask them what they are willing to do for you.
It would help if you could send some shots of the interior, but that could be left until you make a follow up visit in person.
Then make a personal visit to the most promising option.
As to price, we are looking likely at several (high?) hundreds, not thousands .πŸ™‚

Thanks Tom and Dingo40 for your feedback.
@Dingo40 I'm from Torino (Italy) not from Toronto, although I think there some good accordionist in Italy, and I will reach out!

Have a good day!
I see on Google maps that there is a Scavino Musica in Torino. They may not deal in accordions but may put you in touch with accordionists in your area who can assist with your sale. In bocca al lupo.
