Mat Matthews - 2 Voice?

This looks like a 2 voice - just how common were they as quality instruments rather than the big LMMH models?

It is a 2 voice, though it looks like he's playing it on single voice. Its a bit difficult to see if its the top register which is depressed instead of the middle one.

I met Mat Matthews when I was 16 years old. He was performing at the Springfield Institute of Music where I was taking music theory classes. Mat performed on a button box and a PA and played both fantastically. The box he uses here is Hohners answer to the Sonola "Ernie Felice" model.
