Sorry lesser known players, couldnt resist this one from Gigi Stok, who was not from Bologna, but from nearby Parma. He played the modenese bass system (like Belgian but with 7 rows of buttons), with lots of bass runs complimenting his treble work on C system CBA.

Definitely one of the greatest Italian accordionists ever in the popular genre.

Heres another clip which shows the bass layout on his modenese accordion. The very few players who use that system these days only have 6 rows, the same as the standard Belgian system. This bass system has been discussed on the forum in previous articles.
