I like to take an interest because I was going to see her play before she was famous, also I thought she was robbed of a place in the Coupe Mondiale final in Renfrew in 2008 (dont suppose she cares about that now...)
Anyway she keeps dropping heavy hints on social media that she has got some deal going on with the Deutsche Grammophon record label, it wouldnt be their first involvement with accordion because they have recorded Richard Galliano playing Bach but it is very prestigious.
She does get a lot out of the touch and dynamics of the accordion like on this recording of Oblivion ( ) and not only is it some very enjoyable music but it shows off the accordion very well as an accompanying instrument.
Then theres this video from some awards ceremony which I found a bit weird, some classical music red carpet showbiz stuff with press photographers telling her to show her leg etc. . Fair play to her and everything, shes a superb musician, she does her own thing musically and its great for the profile of the instrument too, its just seeing the showbiz side of it in action sort of lifts the lid off the classical music world a bit maybe? Anyway, its all good.
