China is one of the places for upcoming accordion talent.
Russia having mostly B-system players, Chinese accordionists are experimenting with C-system CBA layout and B-system CBA layout.
The accordion, being introduced much later in China than in Russia, the Chinese can compare both systems. Maybe some CBA tutors will be or have been written by Chinese teachers.
In Russia the B-system has a long history in accordion education.
Europe has a mix of B-system and C-system players and PA players.

Jianan Tian is a C-system player.

Tian has nonetheless accumulated no fewer than 31 first-place finishes worldwide at competitions in Italy, Germany, Russia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Wow, no fewer than 31 FIRST place finishes...
I didnt know she won that many accordion competitions.
Amazing

I hope she will also become a part time or full time accordion teacher, and not only an accordion recital performer.
People that talented are in high demand in accordion education.

Yes, glad to see the Chinese are open for more than just one system. I have actually seen many chinese players on both systems on YouTube. Still more B system than C but as they are beginning to be able to afford non-Russian instruments they also start becoming open to more systems.

Tian Jianan in another super performance in the Australian online competition.
See this week's accordion worldwide news video and article.
Passionate performance of a Zolotariev piece and J.S. Bach fugue.
She was very unlucky with the average scores the jury gave, it was a close call seeing the pdf with the jury details.

Difficult to compare and score performances for different music pieces.
It would be easier to judge if each contestant had to play the same music pieces.
