I met the wife of the guy who does the singing on the movie (She's a violinist), and she remarked on how thrilling it was to hear her husbands voice coming out of a handsome face! Not sure what he thinks about that.
Another interesting comment she had was that when she assigned her violin students to find/learn/present a song written in the 1800's and there were always several students who showed up with "Ashokan Farewell". Many thanks to Ken Burns.
