A belated “Hi” to everyone. Now things are up and running and I’ve got a few minutes spare I thought I’d better introduce myself too!

I’m the admin of the forum, and a complete and utter beginner at the accordion. I started trying to learn just before Christmas and am enjoying it even though I don’t have much time to practice. I’m only about half way through Sedlon Book 1. While not being too bad with one hand (left or right) I am struggling badly to play anything using both hands at the same time, and am becoming very frustrated.

I’m moving to a new area this weekend and have been lucky enough to find a tutor locally, so once I get settled in to the new place I’ll carry on with some more lessons and see if I can get my brain to operate my hands independently

Yeah,what Pippa said....cheers mate,good show !!

Both hands will come, do not fret - I know how you feel though, you can do the medley - easy peasy....
Left hand? No sweat.
'Right', says the teacher 'both together'. And the beads of sweat suddenly materialise...

Sedlon: We should start a thred to disucc te best method books, pro's & cons.
Knobby? I daren't ask.
Good luck with the move ...(from Crew?)
