Hi,
Can anyone help with installing a MIDI?
Don't know where to wire the bass and chords in the left hand to the MIDI board. How does the MIDI know the difference between right & left hands?
I'm using an Iorio chordovox and would like to use the switches that are already installed in the accordion.
Thanks for any help offered.

Hi Bob,

MIDI is a "simple" serial computer connection.
The wires do not have a "left and right hand".
This information is coded in the MIDI message ( to be accurate the concept of left and right is not coded but a different channel is assigned).
There are literally hundreds of websites that show how to cable a connector (although you may as well buy one already prepared).
I don't know about the Chordovox. Is it a regular MIDI interface or does it need to be connected to a bespoke unit?
