Hi everyone!

I’m a self taught accordionist of 7 years. My instrument is a Scandalli Air I LMMM 96 bass which I purchased from Liberty Bellows when I was living in the US for a few years.

I have a background in classical piano which is why I was able to get through learning on my own. I don’t perform much but I love to busk (street perform) and post videos on my YouTube channel. My absolute favourite style of music to play on the accordion is anything French.

I’m here because I want to learn more about the accordion!

Your classical piano background will certainly stand you in good stead. I have the same background and found my decades of piano allowed me a flying start. I also gravitated to French musette due to their lovely harmonies and predictable structure. I think the forum here will be a great source of “additional “ learning. It certainly is for me.
