I was thinking about how to change up my videos a little... add some motion, make it look like I had a cameraman and multiple cameras, but still not include anyone except me in the whole process... and I found what I think is a fair solution. I also wanted to end 2018 with a little bang, so I pulled out the cameras and made a video. Again, this video reminded me how much fun one can have just fooling around, NOT being serious about it, but just doing it all for the pleasure. I had a blast!

My next phase to improve is to take the sound quality/complexity up a notch... thats something that I will have to spend some time to figure out how to best accomplish. :)

For now, enjoy... and Happy New Year!! :ch :b

Good one Jerry! Good camera, sounds, etc. My only positive input is that it took you a whole chorus to smile! Good luck with your upgrades in 2019.

I know! It's hard to remember, but I will continue to work on it... thanks for the constructive advice! :)

Jerry,

I haven't been looking much in the "I did that" board for a while, but loved that clip, and very well done indeed.

When I worked on the construction sites in Scotland we used to sing that song a lot. We used to save all the sawn off pieces of pipe and other metal objects until we had sufficient weight to legally sell it to the scrap metal dealers, and some metals could only be sold by the ton. Our word for "one" is "wan", so we would sing "Wan ton o' metal, we're needing wan ton o' metal, wan ton o' metal, etc".

It was a hit in 1966, so was current at the time I worked on the sites. Somebody told us it was Cuban, but we thought "Cuba" was a mathematical term, such was the limit of our "edyukashun".

Great playing on the Roland as usual.

You know, the more that I do these little videos, the more that I learn and the more fun that I have. :)

Maugein96: Thanks! "wan ton o' metal" << haha! Now that's what I am going to be hearing in my head when I hear this song!

Jozz... thank-you! :ch

Jerry,

Scottish accent tuition free of charge if you need it. Spanish guys named "Juan" have a rough time in the west of Scotland, as do Chinese guys called "Yin" in the east!

;)
