Another accordion crossing my path. This one has no model name.
It is 4 voice treble, LMMM. The bass is 5 voice. It is compact at only 9.3 kgs and 470mm over the keyboard. Italian design flare is demonstrated in the design of bellows straps; they retract into the body when open.
Are there any opinions out there on age or likely value (when in a playable condition)?

Looks more like a Galanti to me (not Galani). This used to be a pretty good brand.
Many years I had a Galanti bass accordion (sadly tuned to 442Hz instead of the international standard concert pitch of 440Hz).
This accordion looks pretty old, which unlike with good wine does not mean its value has gone up a lot...
Whether it is still worth any significant amount (three figures) depends on the condition of the inside (reeds, valves, wax, mechanics...) so from these pictures it's impossible to say anything meaningful.

Definitely a Galanti. Those bellows straps are on Galantis, and are somewhat unique to them I believe. Galanti's big flagship model was the super dominator. It had a tone chamber, nice sounding reeds, and very well made, and well respected I believe. This looks in nice shape, and with 3 middles reeds might have a pretty nice musette sound. Any pix of the reeds or the condition of them?

Oops!   A small typing error!   Of course it's a Galanti; I wasn't even aware that 'galani' even existed. I don't think I can even blame predictive text this time.
