Well i finally moved up from my Pigini Peter Pan to a Pigini 37/B3 with handmade reeds.
I love the accordion, however i have a question about the free bass set up:
The freebass bassoon reeds on the lowest octave seem to be louder that the octaves the next octave higher. This seems to be especially noticeable when I play a chord with a low note and higher notes or play the D from the middle octave with the B 3 half steps down. The lower octave notes seems more hollow and this is audible especially where the two octaves are played close together- I don't know how to describe it.
Anyway i have nothing to compare it to and maybe it is a question of technique and need to play the lower notes softer. Observations will be appreciated.
