surely the question should be on the lines of 'does it improve the tune'' irrespective of bellows direction size of feet, length of leg or whatever - my answer would be ''rarely if ever!''

..it's not so much the tappers as the shunters you've got to watch out for.....Coat , me , get, I'll............

The problem with jogging the bellows with the left leg is that the effect will depend on the direction of bellows travel

On the way in it will add to the pressure and momentarily increase the volume, but on the way out the jog will offset the negative bellows pressure and momentarily decrease the volume.

Chris
Not quite sure of the physics of that one Chris :?
In any case, you are right in saying the jogging effect may vary on where the bellows are at any time and how fast they are moving[/quote]

Glenn
I dont know about the physics.. :ugeek: , but its pretty clear to me as an engineer :geek: .
Chris

Well you can't argue with an engineer.

Proof of that
Two engineering students were biking across a university campus when one said, Where did you get such a great bike? The second engineer replied, Well, I was walking along yesterday, minding my own business, when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike, threw it to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, Take what you want. The first engineer nodded approvingly and said, Good choice: The clothes probably wouldnt have fit you anyway.
