I should appreciate opinions on this topic.
I have acquired a MIDI cable to link my FR1XB to the V3 Sonority triangle - and it works well enough.

It is however quite stiff and I wonder whether there is a cable that would be more flexible?

The Flexible Van Damme cable (2m) seems fine but specifies only thee pins connected - is the 'no phantom power' for this cable at all relevant for my usage?

Is there a better choice in the UK?

A standard MIDI cable only uses pins 2-4-5, the FR-1xb only uses MIDI signals, you should be fine.

Thank you for the clarification about the connection.
The Van Damme cable seems a safe choice to make for my usage.
