I have a question that occurred to me a few days ago. With the FR7X system is it possible to record an mp3 of one's playing, play it back on the accordion, and finger along with no sound nor response from the accordion of the "live" playing? So, playing the notes with the pre-recorded audio coming through? Is that possible. It sure isn't smiled upon.

I dont see why that should be different than most music videos where the performers are lip-synching and faking their instruments along with a pre-recorded track...

Learn the fingering on the pre recorded samples... even bigger fake! ;)

I can fake Rimski Korsacovs Flight of the Buble Bee on the accordion. Even with my eyes shut. Easy. So fast it looks like my fingers are not moving. Just a blur.

Saves drilling bass buttons, too? 8-)

If you can record the tune (you have to be able to play it) why not just perform it live! Recording Karaoke tunes on a flash drive and playing them back thru your FR-7 while you play the lead works much better and you don't have to worry about the keys their in as your FR-7 transposes with a push of a button.

Yes. It is possible.

You see it on films of people faking playing the piano which is quite obvious.

That has been done in films since the very first time someone showed an actor playing a piano. They have done everything possible, including shooting Tyrone Power from the back playing the piano for the Eddie Duchin Story, and showing Peter Neros hands for the same film.
