Crescendo Music Writing Software.

As per the title above, does anyone use this?
I've used it a long time ago and am in the middle of copying a tune onto it but can't find a way to access a single stave.
It insists on loading a double (or more) staves linked together.
I only need the melody line and chord symbols so, one stave at a time.
If anyone can help I would be most grateful, thanks.
