Bass button/key question

Hello everyone, I have a doubt...
last night, while practicing (my 1st day) bass chords, I noticed that when I press a key note bass also another third bass note automatically pushes? itself... for example if I press C -I think- B# gets down too.

Chords dont sound odd while trying to play a chord to a song so I assume thats normal or the 1st row is not working at all, or do I need to execute some repair?

This is quite normal on most accordions.
B# is of course the same as C. Both buttons are physically linked to the same reed set.

So, never to waste an opportunity and now you know how it works - by looking at which buttons operate together you can see where the alternatives are. You won't need to know this for a while but it will be useful in the future.
Example:
The A bass and the Ab bass are a long way (7 buttons) apart - press the Ab button and see which other button moves.
