I am new on this forum. I just got a accordion with midi build.
Its a normal Bugari with Miditech Music maker. There is a ekstra box for power/midi conection to the accordion.
I also Got the Audya 8, its the chromatic Button accorcordion version of this arranger. There is some functionalety specificly for accordion inside this keyboard.
One thing that is a bit Strange is that bass is running on channel 3, when style bass is running there is no manual Sound on my bass buttons. If i Play on the midi accordion I Can route bass to channel 1, but playing on the keyboard is not posible.
The pianist funktion on the keyboard is only working for right and left, but then left volume Can not be ajusted. I worked around this by ajusting velocity respons on right and left.
I Can only use Program sounds on right and left only with Pianist.
Pianist is not so great for me because I want to control Accord on left (accordion chords). Similar to normal arranger controlling the style from the split.
Does anyone know if I Can Play on the Music maker from the keyboard.
The Music maker seems to be Well balanced and ready to play from accordion or maybe (accordion keyboard)?
Audya is great but I need to do a lot of dialing in. Like for start to Pick the same Sound on right left and bass. Or something that sounds nice together.
The main problem is the fact that arranger needs to be controlled. I usually start a chord change with root bass and Then chords on offbeats.
I found the function Bass to Root to be useful. Then when I push a left chord I hear a bass Sound often followed by chord depends on style. For Quick chord change this is something. Then I take left sound off so left is bass.
For slower chord change songs, normal style bass is nice often left is off because it is not where i want it, left Can be nice but needs to be on timing with actual chord change.
I prefer accordion from actual accordion. Playing on the audya with velocity piano, electric piano, organs, guitars is really something. My accordion with midi on is strange to play since the is accordion sound is on as soon as bellows is pressed
Its without velocity. I cant hear bellows expression from midi, I have a real accordion right under My nose
