I recently came across a used Serenellini 37/97 which I had not previously heard of.
Has anyone had any experience with this brand ?
Sounds like an Italian name, but is it manufactured in Italy ? By who ?
Good, bad , so-so ?

Serenelli was an American brand, importing from a number of
Italian companies over time

he began during the early days of the Accordion Schools era and was
quite successful... he helped other American companies get started
like Giulietti by allowing them to piggyback smaller orders on his big orders
as a kindness until they got big enough to order full containers themselves

in their later years, Settimo Soprani supplied his accordions, which were
very good players and had better than average reeds

when the Accordion schools died, so did many of the American brands
including Serenelli

Serenellini is a good brand of italian accordions. It is not to be confused with Serenelli which is not as highly regarded.
Serenelli made the early Giulietti accordions (with G-clef as logo) before that production moved to Zero Sette.
Serenellini accordions are made by Serenellini in Italy, see www.serenellini.com.
