Anyone heard of the make Alcesti?
Any clues as to its quality and country of origin?

Nice looking box - I've not come across this name before. Can you get to the back or insides for clues? But ALCESTI may not be the make - sometimes people have their name put on; and it's known for successful teachers to have boxes rebranded in their business name by the manufacturer for supply to the students. I doubt that in this instance, but could conceivably be the players/bands name.

Or maybe someone will know it to be the manufacturer.
