I'm new here.

I am 76 years old.
Have 3 accordions.
Stopped playing accordion seriously around 45 years ago.
I've decided that's about time to try to get back in shape with my playing.
I hope , that being on this forum will give me little boost and will motivate me to start to practice.

A common story, one I have lived myself. I found this place around 2016 and it (along with some incredible friends I have made here), have managed to not just rekindle my interest in accordions but kept the flame alive. Indeed since I have come here I've even managed to grow my accordion collection from 5 boxes to 13 and my motivation has not been higher.

Nice accordion, perhaps it's my bias but the red and white is the best colour combination for an accordion. Play for fun and before you know it all comes back. Many of us have also forgotten about their accordion for some number of years but it sure feels good to be back. Tell us about the music that you like to play.

I wish I could get back what I lost... I got back about 10% really, but it was still 10% more than I had before, which was nothing.
