Please, I'm sure someone is familiar - what is the keyboard size on these? 3 Voice?

Thanks!

These were made with 18" and 19" keyboards. They were also made with LMM reeds And LM reed sets . Can't tell on this one as you can't read the shifts from the pic' . They were also made for student use with low quality machine made reeds and will not hold up with hard use.

Thanks so much Jim.

This same model was made in 17,18and 19 sizes and in different colors. The majority of 19 models were made in Black and Gold. They were made with low grade plastic parts and with age become very brittle. If you look close at this one, you can see the treble keys are starting to fail and crack. These low grade Scandallis were constructed more like toy than musical instrument quality. 75% of these 1960 era Scandallis have found their way to the landfill. This blue one is listed on ebay and grossly overpriced. It seems the seller has listed it and within 15 min. placed the first bid himself.

Yes, that one's a bit of a mess.

Thank you again for the clarification--certainly sounds like something to be avoided.

These also came in 4 reeds LMMH in an 18" but I have only seen one.
As for quality, These are not the best thing out there , but they are generally well made and easy to service due to the design.
I have not noticed that the celluloid keys are any more prone to cracking than other similar instruments, but I would avoid ones that had these symptoms. as the keys would have to be replaced.

Jut got one in the shop, keyboard looks to be no more than 16 inches. Foam valve pads are shot, but the tuning is really good. I will get around to rebuilding it in a few months. The used to have letters available that would snap into the squares of the grill so you could put your name on it.
