A few extra keys?

A bit tricky to count, but the treble keyboard on the PA in this clip appears to have some extra keys (48 in total?)

Looks like it has 47 keys. Makes it rather large. The additional low Eb and high C# don’t add to the attractiveness of the instrument. Looks like an afterthought.

47 keys is quite normal now. The range is from low Eb to high C#. Previously 45 keys was the norm for convertor instruments (low E to high C) and adding the 2 extra black keys actually does not really cost extra room. The largest PA range I know is 49 notes, low D to high D.
The term "turbo" is just a name for the best reeds. It has absolutely nothing to do with the term "turbo" we know from automobile technology.

Thanks, Paul!(y)
And so, the accordion keeps on evolving: which means it's far from dead!🙂

An interesting photo, Dingo. I thought my Beltuna looked unusual the first time I saw it in the music shop. Something was different. The owner-restorer said it had a 37/96 RH/LH design. Easy to immediately see the LH reduction, but had to look closer at the RH. Quickly noticed the lesser number of keys when I test played it. My right hand easily went beyond the keyboard within a song or two. Always there are these changes to something new.

I just want an accordion whose low range will cause earthquakes and whose high range is beyond the hearing of dogs. Not real particular about the brand.

Can be arranged, but it will have to be digital. However I advise against for the sake of the neighbours and any stray animals in the vicinity.

Ksenija is a superb player but....

Did someone say some accordion conservatory courses are now CBA only?

In Belgium conservatory courses are CBA only as far as I know. Both C system and B system are allowed.
In some (maybe most?) music schools PA is allowed for older experienced PA players, but children who start with accordion must use CBA.

Funny that nobody commented on the practically R-rated performance. Jeez, find a room! Maybe that’s de rigeur for performances of Piazzola in Europe?
I was lucky enough to see Piazzola play live in San Francisco. A very serious and intense band that had one focus....THE MUSIC. One of the greatest performances I’ve seen. The music is too good to have a soap opera performance like this one which distracted so much from the music that I couldn’t even get through 2 minutes. Going for the hoi polloi, I guess, as well as blatant self promotion. I’ve walked out on shows like that.
Nice accordion, though.
