A few quite rare Russian 1980s made Timbre accordions are for sale.
In Russia quartets and quintets were formed with this type of B-system CBAs without basses.

No idea what quality these are, but they are rare, and production is low for this type of instruments.

An example of such an ensemble:

The Русский тембр (Russian timbre) group uses good quality instruments.

I see Moscow and Tula. Could be made in the Tula region, or for sale in those areas. These would be more like the Russian ones.

Sadly, there arent many videos of these instruments, so they are still a bit misterious to us in the West.


But I think the best ones are those used by the Russian quintet Timbre in the video above.
