I do now. The last of a late local accordion player's instruments has passed into my hands. (An Excelsior 940 and Titano Cosmopolitan are the others.) It's playable, generally in tune but needs work - looks great inside, but the outside has taken a beating. He was hard on his accordions. I am considering taking it to Petosa in Seattle to have it refurbished. I am into it $560 CAD, about 450 US, and wonder how much more it is worth putting into this accordion before I've paid too much for it. If you have an opinion, I'd like to hear it.

One something like this??
That's the one, but mine has 5 knobs to twiddle, I think that's the esm part, don't know what the first sm stands for. Also mine has 3 push button bass switches, rather than the standard hinged switches seen in the video.

All Nice accordions.
On a side note how’s the condition and sound of the 940 and titano ?

Both sound great and are in good shape after some work. They got a lot of use from their original owner. The Petosa feels a bit boxy and unwieldy to me, despite supposedly being the lightest. A new bass strap might help there. The Excelsior has the most comfortable feel to me. More accordions than I need, but it seems nobody else in town wanted them.
